David is the director of safety for Southland Safety. David has over 30 years of experience in the compliance industry and has worked directly with numerous regulatory agencies such as EPA, OSHA, LDEQ, RRC. David has worked for oil and gas operators and contractors, and commercial and residential construction companies. David joined Southland after 7 years with Enable (formerly CenterPoint Energy) building pipelines and gas plants in the Haynesville Shale area. He enjoys the diversity of services Southland offers as a compliance consulting company: providing training, inspection, and audit services. David works closely with Southland’s clients to ensure the safety services offered are customized to their needs. David has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree focused in occupational health and safety and with a corrosion minor.
